Royal Teas, Royal Hill - Greenwich
Greenwich is my favourite place this week! After lunch at the buzzing market, we headed to the lovely peaceful Royal Hill and Royal Teas. This is the cosiest little spot, away from the hustle and bustle; crammed with wooden tables and an amazing smell of fresh coffee from beans stored in jars along the wall. The cakes, made in a small kitchen at the back, are simply to die for (my more than generous slice of chocolate and almond cake was just being iced as we ordered).
We had a pot of the Columbian and when our exclamations evoked much envy from the lady next to us who was very annoyed by her decision to have tea, I appeased her with a small sip from our jug!
Being completely in love with the gorgeous french barista might be a small part of the fact that I am DEFINITELY going back!
